Case study

Ademan

Information

Ademan has developed a novel piece of equipment designed to monitor the gut cycle in a new and distinctive way.

The Challenge

As part of a funding application, the founder needed to file a patent. A draft had been prepared independently, but it required significant restructuring and refinement to meet patent office requirements and accurately capture the technical innovation.

How IP Asset supported:

IP Asset provided the following support:

  1. Reviewed the draft patent application prepared by the founder.
  2. Rewrote the application into formal patent language, ensuring technical clarity and consistency.
  3. Prepared and filed the patent, enabling the technology to be presented credibly in the funding process.
The Result

The strengthened patent submission supported Ademan in successfully securing £1.6 million in funding, directly enabling further development and commercialisation of the technology.
