Ashleigh joined IP Asset in February 2021 as a trainee patent attorney after completing an MSci in Chemistry at University College London, of which she graduated with a first. She was also decorated with two prestigious awards, one being the Dean’s List and the other granted for her thesis study. As part of her master’s year, she researched the structural modification of perovskite solar cells by doping with different cations. Following this research, she was invited to co-author a review paper on the ambient fabrication of perovskite solar cells for an acclaimed journal.
Aside from her passion for science, she also enjoys travelling, playing piano, and cooking (usually experimental). Ashleigh can often be found exploring the outdoors, undertaking activities such as bouldering and hiking. Of Spanish heritage, she enjoys using her linguistic skills to learn other Latin languages.
